Trend company Mudpie nearly double its growth compared to last year’s revenue coming from its
online service mpdclick.com. This year promises to be another growth year for Mudpie with investment planned into further creative solutions and innovative technology.Mpdclick has had success with the iPad where they re-designed its service to be compatible to its competition. Mpdclick and the Mudpie trend books are also meeting the standards of Lectra and other creative PLM solutions as well as industry standard Adobe and Corel applications. New printed publications are also planned along with a Mudpie branded retail operation.
As Mudpie founder and CEO Fiona Jenvey, says: “This rate of growth in a slow economy does not surprise me. I started Mudpie in a recession (the early 1990s) and I understand what is needed during difficult trading conditions where controlling costs goes hand in hand with product development and innovation." (Ed.) "In order to be successful a brand must first be different. 2011 will be another difficult year for apparel; however it is all about innovation. In the UK alone creativity is valued at 7% of the economy and is growing at twice the rate of any other sector in terms of financial growth."
Mudpie is one of the UK’s largest trend forecasting service, with an international network spanning 50 countries and branded offices in 17 locations, including Asia, Africa, Australia, the Americas and Europe.
