Mulberry named as a company to inspire

British heritage brand Mulberry, along with premium

high street retailer Whistles and online fashion retailer Boohoo all feature in a report listing 1,000 companies to inspire Britain by the London Stock Exchange.

Mulberry is among a number of fashion retail companies to be singled out in the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report, which identifies some of the fastest-growing and dynamic small and medium-sized enterprise in the UK.

Other fashion companies highlighted in the report include Jack Wills, Hunter Boot, Cath Kidston, The Hut Group, Childrensalon, Charles Tyrwhitt, Footasylum, Hockley, and Long Tall Sally.

To be considered for inclusion in the report, companies had to meet a range of criteria, including being UK based, having a turnover of between 6-250 million pounds in the last 12 months and a minimum of 3 years in operation.

The list represents the diverse economy in the UK and features companies from more than 100 sectors ranging from architecture and automotive, to venture capital and wine, as well as retail and fashion.
