Mulberry non-exec director steps down

Mulberry non-executive director Robin Gibson has stepped

down from the board, after 17 years with the luxury British brand.

The news was confirmed at a meeting yesterday, where Mulberry chairman, Godrey Davis, thanked him for his “significant contribution” during his tenure and wished him well for the future.

The luxury brand also announced that Christophe Cornu has joined its board as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Cornu is chief commercial officer of Nestle Nespresso and is responsible for the global operations of the brand across 50 countries.

Commenting on Cornu joining the board, Davis said: “We look forward to working with him as we continue to build Mulberry into a global luxury brand.”
