Luxury online retailer My-Wardrobe has announced a wave of new recruits across marketing,

design and buying as part of its strategy to turn around the business.

Sacha Newall, formerly promotions manager at Daily Mail, has been named head of sales and marketing, while Charlotte Fairbairn has joined as web and business development manager from Tesco Direct.

Additionally, Sophie Hedley has been named head of communications. Hedley joins from Selfridges where she was head of PR for three years, overseeing projects including the launch of the Shoe Galleries, the Designer Galleries and the Denim Studio.

Anaheta Metghalchi and Jennifer Moore have joined Carmen Borgonovo's buying team as assistant buyers. Metghalchi joins the e-tailer from Burberry, where she was product merchandiser and buyer for womenswear across Burberry Prorsum and London, while Moore joins from Net-a-Porter.com.

The final addition is to the design department, which will be headed up by former Grazia deputy art director, Sarah Shaw, who has been named head of design.

In November, My-Wardrobe appointed administrators Leonard Curtis Business Solutions, who sold the business to Growth Capital Acquisitions in a pre-pack deal, which led to the exit of chief executive David Worby.
