The rumors have been confirmed, former The Row and Céline designer, Nadège

Vanhee-Cybulski, has officially been named as the successor to Christophe Lemaire at Hermés, effective from its A/W 2015 collection.

Earlier this week news broke that Lemaire was exiting his role as artistic director of women's ready-to-wear at Hermés after four years, to focus on his own eponymous label.

Fellow French designer, Vanhee-Cybulski, first cut her teeth in the industry working at Maison Martin Margiela in Paris, before joining Phoebe Philo at Céline as senior designer. She later was tapped as women's design director for The Row.

“I am delighted to be joining Hermès, a house I so admire and whose values I share wholeheartedly,” commented Vanhee-Cybulski, who is set to unveil her first collection for Hermés next March.

“Her talent and her creative track-record will be great assets in the continued development of women's ready-to-wear,” said Axel Dumas, chief executive officer of Hermès in a statement. “She will devote herself full-time to our house.”
