A new men’s trade show Detail London is launching this February dedicated solely to accessories

and lifestyle products.

Set to take place between February 5-6 at London’s Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell, the show aims to provide a “well-edited collection of both new and existing sought-after brands with a platform” to showcase to buyers and press.

Founded by Jared Horn, former co-owner of Cardiff independent store Drooghi and owner of One Percenter sales agency, Detail London was borne out a need to focus this sector, which the organisers claim is currently “marginalised”.

Horn said: "I think that a lot of menswear stores are starting to offer more and more in the way of accessories and lifestyle products not only as a stream of revenue but as a way differentiating themselves from other stores.

“It’s a really prosperous market right now and I felt that it needed a specific platform to give these type of brands that come under this umbrella a chance to shine".

The event will host up to 30 exhibitors, showcasing accessories and products such as bike lights, homewares and paper products. Brands already signed up include Il Bussetto, Universal Works, Pendleton, Chapman Bags, Drakes of London, London Undercover, Veras and Johnstons of Elgin.
