British-based fashion label Nicole Farhi, which shows at London Fashion Week, has named

Francois Steiner interim CEO with immediate effect. This announcement follows the departure of former CEO Niki Scordi last week after the label was sold to Kelso Place Asset Management.

Luxury goods veteran Steiner has held several positions in retail and fashion, including managing director of Sonia Rykiel, CEO of Kenzo, managing director of Thomas Pink, and president of Louis Vuitton Europe.

“I am thrilled to be working with Nicole, her team and Kelso Place to drive this business forward,” said Steiner in a statement. “With the new flagship store and plans for UK and international expansion, this is a very exciting time for the brand.”
