Fashion label Nicole Farhi has named former Lulu Guinness CEO, Martin Mason as its new chief

executive.

Mason, who starts on April 1, has also worked at Pringle, Mulberry, Tanner Krolle and MCM, where he held board positions, but it is his most recent role as Lulu Guinness CEO that helped him get the role.

The Nicole Farhi brand has had a difficult year, after falling into administration over the summer it was rescued and acquired by Maxine Hargreaves-Adams, owner of womenswear label Fenn Wright Manson.

Commenting on the new appointment, Hargreaves-Adams, said: “I am delighted that Martin will be joining us as chief executive. Martin brings with him a wealth of luxury goods experience and an ability to drive our plans for international expansion.”

Mason added: "I am very pleased to be joining Nicole Farhi; it is an iconic and much-loved British brand and an exceptional opportunity for growth. There is much work to do and I look forward to working with Maxine and all the management team."
