Designers Michael Kors, Diane von Furstenberg and Jenny Packham are rumoured to be opting for off-site venues

at the forthcoming February edition of New York Fashion Week.

All three designers are reportedly moving their Autumn/Winter 2014 collections to different venues this season, rather than at the Lincoln Center, according to WWD. For Jenny Packham this move marks a dramatic change, the British designer a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge has showcased at the Lincoln Center for eight seasons.

These names follow, bridal designer Vera Wang and red carpet favourite Carolina Herrera, who have both already confirmed that they will not feature their collections at the Lincoln Center.

The change in designer’s showcasing at the main tent at the Lincoln Center isn’t the only change to take place for the up-coming season of NYFW, last month IMG announced that the bi-annual event would be more “exclusive” in an attempt to make the less crowded and more cost effective for the designers.
