New York-based fashion designer Oscar de la Renta is launching

an exclusive collection with online designer discount retailer The Outnet featuring archived patterns and materials.

Launching on February 26, the collection will feature 24 pieces including dresses, skirts, trousers and tops, which will be sold at a more accessible price point than the designer’s mainline collection with prices ranging from 245 to 995 pounds.

This collaboration marks the designer label’s first collection specifically for discount, and has been developed to attract a new audience.

Commenting on the exclusive collection, Stephanie Phair, MD of The Outnet, said: "We know our customer loves Oscar, but we also feel this is an amazing opportunity to tap into The Outnet's audience and a new audience that Oscar as a brand might not yet have reached.

"This is tapping into a potential customer that will become an Oscar de la Renta customer.”

The Outnet has previously collaborated with British fashion labels Alexander McQueen and Erdem, as well as Anna Sui and Paul & Joe.
