British men’s accessories brand Otis Batterbee is

set to open its first ever standalone store in London’s historic Marylebone area this autumn. The new store will be located on Chiltern Street and will occupy more than 690 sq ft of retail space.

Chiltern Street is rapidly gaining a reputation as a sought-after location for high-end specialist retail and leisure brands, and Otis Batterbee will join retailers including iconic French candle brand Cire Trudon, menswear retailer Trunk, and womenswear brand Long Tall Sally.

The brand first introduced its distinctive menswear accessories at Liberty and Fortnum & Mason, and is now stocked in over 40 department stores in the UK, adding a standalone retail presence for the brand was “key to the brand’s evolution” the company said in a statement.

Founder Otis Batterbee said: “I wanted the store to encapsulate the whole vibe of the brand, it will be elegantly witty and a great place to wonder around, sit down on club chair and have a quick read of some hand-picked literature and learn a little more about the extended Batterbee family and where it all came from - but most importantly it will be comfortable and definitely not stuffy.”

The store will official open in September and will debut new ranges including tote bags, both canvas and waxed canvas, as well as coin purses, and travel pouches.
