London-based PR agency, Push PR is to implement ‘T’

Tuesday as of today, December 13, where emails will be banned and employees will have to use alternative forms of communication such as the telephone and Twitter.

The agency, which looks after fashion clients including Upper Street shoes, EC One jewellery, luxury backpack brand Ruxx and Victoria Plimsolls, is following the lead of Thierry Breton who plans to ban email at the technology giant Atos.

Emma Hart, Managing Director, comments, "It's been on my mind for a while. More and more offices are glued to their screens reacting to emails. Push PR already has a great approach to proactively calling and holding press appointments. As an agency that prides itself on creativity and innovation this is a natural step which now feels like the right time to make official."

Katherine Watson, Deputy Fashion Director added, "I love this idea. Yes, it's taking our security blanket away but that can only be a good thing. I like the challenge."

Established in 2002, Push PR will mark its 10th anniversary in September 2012.
