Première Vision has signed an agreement to

purchase five fashion tradeshows from Eurovet, which currently organises events for swimwear and lingerie brands and fabrics.

The acquisition will see Première Vision assume responsibility for Fatex, Zoom by Fatex, and "Made in France" by Fatex, and Tissu Premier and Collections, which are dedicated to fabrics and products, while Eurovet will retain its lingerie and swimwear shows, including Mode City and Salon International de la Lingerie.

Although the deal is still pending approval, once completed Première Vision will run a total of 32 tradeshows in six countries. The shows that have been purchased will continue to be run by their current teams, and brought into PV Manufacturing, under the direct management of the Première Vision board of directors. Hervé Huchet, fashion division director at Eurovet, will continue to support the group’s operations and developments in these activities as a consultant.

For Eurovet, a subsidiary of the French Knitting and Lingerie Federation and the Comexposium group, the deal is thought to be part of its plan to invest in lingerie and swimwear, as well as accelerate its international development in strategic and expanding regions, such as Asia.
