Liam Gallagher’s menswear fashion label Pretty Green has confirmed that it will be labelling

any faux fur trim it uses in its collections to publicise its no-fur policy.

The British menswear brand has joined the list of PETA’s fur-free fashion labels and has pledged to remain completely free of animal fur, joining other British labels including Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood who have also publicly sworn off fur.

Commenting on Pretty Green’s decision, Yvonne Taylor, PETA’s senior programme manager, said: “We are delighted to add Liam to the list of truly talented visionaries and trendsetters who are able to design stylish, fashionable and popular clothing without the use of fur.”

Founded in 2009, Pretty Green is renowned for its quintessential British flavour mixed in with a rock and roll heritage, and has stores across the UK including London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, and Leeds, and in June it opened its first international store in Japan.
