FashionUnited has previously interviewed Steve Cochrane, managing director, of long standing

successful Northern England retailer, Psyche. Recently called to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen in respect for his services to the fashion retail industry and noted by the British Fashion Council, Psyche has been unique in it's ability to merge online and offline services.

Recent news is that this year - it's 30th year anniversary - the north’s premium fashion retailer, Psyche, along with some of the world’s largest brands, has invested £328,000 into its store in order to offer customer’s a truly unique shopping experience. This has largely been spent on a third floor store remodel - almost all of which has been invested by designers desperate to get their brands on the shelves of Psyche.

The new boutiques include a £90,000 World of Armani section, £40,000 Original Penguin department and £20,000 UGG boutique.

Steve adds: “To be a success these days you have to go over and above. The staff have to be the best there is, the shop has to look its best; every detail needs to be thought about. We work hard on that."
