Rachel Zoe cancels show New York Fashion Week

Fashion designer and celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, also known from the

reality show 'The Rachel Zoe Project', decided to cancel her show for New York Fashion Week at the last minute.

The designer, who runs her own fashion label and online media company, recently gave birth to her son last December and decided to put her family first. "I was looking forward to the New York Fashion Week, but I've made the difficult decision to move the runway show in New York to a later date in Los Angelos," commented Zoe."As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me and I'm unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York."

It will be the first time since 2011 that Zoe will be absent during the fashion week. However, fans of the designer should not worry as Zoe will be back on schedule for next season. "I look forward to being back on the NYFW calendar in September."
