Radley appoints new chief executive

Radley + Co, the luxury handbag and leather goods brand,

has appointed Xavier Simonet as its new chief executive.

Simonet currently holds the position of vice president and general manager international at Paris-based DB Apparel Group whose brands include Dim, Playtex, Wonderbra and Lovable. Whilst previously, he spent 11 years at luxury conglomerate, LVMH.

Roger Best, chairman of Radley + Co said: "We are delighted that Xavier will be joining Radley. He has great experience of developing women’s premium brands around the world and is the right person to lead the company through its exciting next growth phase."

Simonet added: "Radley is a company with strong values, people and products. The potential for further growth is considerable and I am really looking forward to working with the team to build Radley into an internationally renowned premium brand."
