Reality TV star announces debut fashion collection

The Only Way Is Essex’s star Lydia Rose Bright has announced the

launch of her eponymous womenswear range.

The 38-piece collection of day and eveningwear, inspired by classic vintage design, comprises of dresses and separates in fabrics such as lace, velvet and printed devore, and will be available in sizes 8-16.

Key pieces from her debut collection include sweeping floor length gowns, peplum-shape dresses and blouses and soft tailoring including three quarter length cigarette pants.

The line has been designed by Bright, with assistance and production by UK-based manufacturer Lipstick.

Commenting on her debut line, Bright said: “My vision was to encapsulate classic sophistication and glamour throughout the collection, creating clothes that independent, ambitious, creative young women who love style and feeling fabulous will want to wear forever.

“Clothes and styling are my passion and everything that I have designed I would want to wear myself. I’m delighted with the results.”

Bright is the latest TOWIE cast member to capitalise on her celebrity status through fashion - Amy  Childs debut her line for spring/summer 2012, Gemma Collins launched a plus-size clothing range last year, Lucy Mecklenburgh designed a line with Little Mistress, and Lauren Goodger launched her collection in collaboration with FashionCapital.
