Regent Street launches consumer website

Regent Street, one of London’s shopping areas, which is home to
flagship stores, including Michael Kors, Banana Republic, Guess, Gant, Barbour, Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein and Desigual, is launching a new consumer website, regentstreetonline.com.The website has been refreshed in readiness for the expected increase in UK and international visitors expected in London this year due to the Olympic Games and Jubilee celebrations. The site has introduced a new social media networking layer with live access to platforms Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, as well as a sophisticated shopping directory that allows users to browse 137 shops, restaurants and cafes with ease.
Visual content on the site has also increased with a conscious effort to showcase the variety of fashion and lifestyle brands and historical and cultural attractions within the Regent Street area.
Annie Walker, Director of Regent Street Association said: “Recent construction projects such as the BBC, Quadrant 3 and the Café Royal Hotel will bring an additional 10,000 business professionals to London’s West End. We also wanted to create a sense of community and engage with the local workers within the Regent Street area by introducing live travel updates and Regent Street news”.
