London’s Regent Street has launched its own online community

that allows shoppers to connect with their favourite shops and restaurants.

Called 24/7, the bespoke social media hub, pulls in comments made on social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, allowing customers to access all the information in one single online location.

The project marks the first of its kind where a shopping destination, retailers and the public can see their social media integrated together, and more than 100 shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels are already connected to the website including Liberty London, Reiss, Hollister, Superdry, Ted Baker and Anthropologie.

The hub requires users to sign in, to allow sites such as Twitter and Instagram to integrate, and the hub operates its conversations around various hashtags that are clearly indentified at the top of the site including #RegentStreet.

The site was set up by the Crown Estate, and head of Regent Street portfolio, David Shaw said: “We are delighted to offer shoppers and visitors from all over the world a new way of engaging and enjoying their Regent Street experience.”
