The economic fashion market is back in business and the the jobs market is set for a "bumper"

Christmas, with the retail sector especially advertising more vacancies than a year ago.

According to research from recruitment firm Reed, a study of 160,000 vacancies on its website revealed a 49 percent rise in retail.

Economic recover in the retail sector has been slow, however sales in November have soared with Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

There was a boost for retail jobs in the third quarter of the year, with retail employment up by 1 percent compared to a year earlier. The number of full-time contracts grew at the fastest rate in more than three years, according to the BRC-Bond Dickinson Retail Employment Monitor.
