River Island teaming up with T. Lipop

Following on from three successful womenswear

collaborations, River Island’s Design Forum initiative is to launch its first menswear collection with British designer T. Lipop for Autumn/Winter 2013.

The 16-piece collection, which will include men's T-shirts, trousers and men's jackets, has been inspired by the historical lineage of British fashion and features the designer’s signature blend of “progressive cutting techniques, luxurious fabrics and technology”.

To celebrate the collaboration, River Island has created a short film with the designer that will be screened as part of the British Fashion Council’s Fash/On Film initiative at London Collections: Men in June.

The collection will be available to buy in selected River Island stores and online from the beginning of September.

Previous designers who have teamed up with the high street retailer as part of its Design Forum include Georgia Hardinge and William Tempest.
