Bensoussen, executive chairman of L.K.Bennett and co-founder of Sirius Equity,

which acquired the British women's wear and accessories brand in 2008 with Phoenix Equity Partners, has stepped up to take over as CEO.

He succeeds Didier Drouet, who left the fashion brand after holding his role at L.K. Bennett for little over year and a half. Prior to replacing Drouet, Bensoussan acted as CEO in 2010, after Margaret McDonald left the company.
