Paris Fashion Week in October will see the first designs by Rodolfo Paglialunga for Vionnet. The new

collection promises to give a contemporary look on Vionnet’s Grecian heritage.

After 13 years working as Miuccia Prada’s assistant, Rodolfo Paglialunga was appointed as designer at Vionnet. The spring collection is inspired by exotic travels and Art Deco.

The French fashion house has been revived after many years and carries on the legacy of designer Madeleine Vionnet. With her bias cut she created a new silhouette for women of the early 1920s.
