London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic has confirmed

the launch of her debut flagship store in London’s Mayfair.

Due to open in early 2014, the flagship will be located in a Grade 2 listed building at 9 Mount Street, and will be designed in partnership with British architect David Adjaye.

Commenting on the announcement, Ilincic said: “Opening our first store is a huge milestone for me. It is crucial that it is here in London, and this incredible Mount Street site is the perfect location.

“The store will be the home for the brand in more ways than one, and will be the ideal space for my vision for the label to be fully realised.”

To celebrate the news, the designer has partnered with internationally renowned set designer Gary Card on a unique installation featuring a capsule collection of eight Roksanda Ilincic dresses inspired by the work of artist Josef Albers in the window of the Mount Street store.

Roksanda Ilincic is the latest designer name announcing the opening of a store on Mount Street, she joins Christopher Kane who recently announced his debut store will be opening next year, and both LFW designers will sit alongside other luxury British brands including Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney.
