Run up to Graduate Fashion Week

With the much anticipated Graduate Fashion Week upon us, at the beginning of next month,

fashion visitors can expect developments to this year's event.

Firstly, two catwalk halls will host the final collections from 21 leading universities from across the UK and culminate with the gala show in which one student will walk away with the George Gold Award and £20,000 in their pocket.

Secondly, new this year is a partnership with Fashion GPS, the same web-based invitation scheduling system used at New York Fashion Week - which means that getting to see the future of fashion will be made a whole lot easier. The technology of Fashion GPS also incorporates smart phone technology, allowing you to check into the event using your iPhone or iPad.

"I think this partnership will revolutionise how we communicate with our guests and help keep us firmly on the fashion map," says Rob Templeman, chairman of Graduate Fashion Week.
