Sarah Jessica Parker to launch shoe collection

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is launching

her own footwear collection, simply titled SJP, which will be exclusive to US department store Nordstrom.

Debuting in 2014, the actress has partnered with Manolo Blahnik USA’s Chief Executive and Operating Officer George Malkemus, and has taken inspiration from “great old-school labels like Charles Jourdan and Maud Frizon” for her accessories line, which will also include an edit of bags and “few” trench coats.

Prices will start from 200 US dollars for flats and single-sole pumps, while bags are set to retail for around 700 US dollars. However, with the collection being exclusive to Nordstrom there has been no confirmation on whether the line will be available in the UK.

This isn’t Parker’s first design project, the actress was previously President and Chief Creative Officer of Halston Heritage, but left the label after a year and half.
