Schiaparelli, which recently named Marco Zanini its creative director,

has been invited by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture to show as a guest member at the upcoming Paris Haute Couture Week in January 2014.

Last week, the Chambre Syndicale elected Schiaparelli as a new guest member, along with Belgian designer Serkan Cura and London-based Australian couture house Ralph & Russo. All three labels will showcase alongside the likes of Chanel, Christian Dior and Valentino.

All eyes will be on French brand Schiaparelli, which will be showcasing its first collections in January under the artistic direction of former Rochas designer Marc Zanini. It is expected that the brand, which was founded in 1927 by Elsa Schiaparelli, and revived last year by Diego Della Valle of the Tod’s Group, will receive an official invite to become a member of the Chambre Syndicale.

Paris Haute Couture Week will take place from January 20 to 23.
