Schuh opens in Chester town

High street footwear retailer, Schuh, has opened a new store in the town of Chester –

its 79th standalone store across the UK.

Beyond indicating the success of this low level priced fashion footwear brand, it has also brought around potential jobs to the area around the Grosvenor shopping centre.

“Opening a new store always causes a certain amount of anticipation but even more so when it is a brand new market for us like Chester, so we like to give it a bit of everything to test the waters,” said Schuh managing director Colin Temple.

As well as popular footwear brands such as Converse, Vans, and TOMS, the store will stock exclusive ranges from Red or Dead and Momentum in addition to its own label, currently not available with other retailers in the Chester area.
