Footwear retailer Schuh is set to open its first shopping park store

at Glasgow Fort later this month.

Schuh has secured a 10 year lease on a 6,500 square foot unit at the out-of-town retail park, which will house the company’s fourth dual fascia of Schuh and Schuh Kids, which is dedicated to children’s footwear.

Previously let to Republic, the unit sits alongside retailers including Office, Jack & Jones and Swarovski, who all also chose Glasgow Fort for their first out-of-town stores.

Dan Clark, Senior Asset Manager for British Land said: “Schuh is a fantastic addition which will bring even more variety to Glasgow Fort and further strengthen the retail line up.”

Phil Whittle, Head of Store Operations at Schuh, added: “Schuh previously operated a concession within the Republic store at Glasgow Fort and is excited to be returning to the park with the full dual fascia line up of Schuh and Schuh kids in time for the peak ‘Back to School’ and autumn selling seasons.”

The footwear retailer is also signed up for a store at British Land's Teesside Shopping Park in Stockton-On-Tees, which will open in early autumn.
