London-based fashion tradeshow Scoop has announced that it is expanding into an

additional venue for its sixth edition taking place in July.

The directional and contemporary womenswear show, which launched in February 2011 is currently holding its fifth edition until February 12, and has always been based at London’s Saatchi Gallery. From July, Scoop will open a second venue at the Phillips Gallery in Howick Place, located just 6 minutes from the Saatchi Gallery.

The expansion will allow the showcase to add a further 175 labels, meaning that in July Scoop will host more than 400 collections, which have been hand-picked by the show’s team to represent the best in contemporary and premium womenswear, accessories, footwear and lifestyle products.

“I’m delighted that the Phillips Gallery has agreed to be part of our expansion plans for Scoop International,” said Scoop founder Karen Radley. “With demand for space at Scoop already outstripping that available at the Saatchi Gallery we’ve been searching for an additional venue for over a year, but I was determined that any additional location should be every bit as beautiful and iconic. The galleries at Phillips have the same spaciousness and quality of light as the Saatchi Gallery, and being located less than ten minutes away it’s the most perfect choice.”

The July 2013 edition of Scoop will take place at the Saatchi Gallery and Phillips Gallery from July 21-23. This month’s edition of the show runs at the Saatchi Gallery until February 12.
