Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda is expanding its range with a new menswear collection

called Atelier Scotch, which will be unveiled at Florence trade show Pitti Uomo this month.

The contemporary new tailoring line will debut for Autumn/Winter 2014 and will combine elements of the Scotch & Soda mainline, as well as international elements, such as Japanese materials, Scandinavian minimalism and preppy British style.

With the label adding that “seven cities, seven different inspirations have led the creative team” of Scotch & Soda to create the collection, with the statement adding that the pieces will reflect the style of the Atelier Scotch man who is “sophisticated and forever on the move” and incorporates his travel and experiences into his fashion.

The brand will be launched in fourteen European countries and Australia, including in the UK, where Shoreditch-based agency Zone Two, which already works with Scotch & Soda and its sister brands Maison Scotch, will distribute the line.

The label hasn’t confirmed price points but it is rumoured that a suit will be around 600 euros. Atelier Scotch will debut at Pitti Uomo, which takes place from January 7-10 in Florence, Italy.
