Scotch & Soda plans UK expansion

Young Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda is planning a retail push across the UK

after opening its new flagship last week on Carnaby Street, London.

Marking the fashion retailer’s third store in the capital, the 590 square foot store at 13-14 Carnaby Street joins the brands other two stores opened last year in Westbourne Grove, one for Scotch & Soda and another for its sister womenswear label Maison Scotch.

Following the successful launches in London, the brand is now looking to expand its offering across the UK and is said to be targeting locations in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Cardiff, as well as Brighton and Edinburgh, according to Drapers.

Since its takeover in 2011 by US apparel manufacturer Kellwood Co., Scotch & Soda has been actively expanding its business, and last year it was announced that the brand was also looking to open eight stores in America as well as extend its retail network in Germany.
