Scottish Fashion Awards open for entries

The Scottish Fashion Awards 2014 has called upon Scotland's fashion and textile talent to apply for the September awards ceremony.

A shortlist of nominees is expected to be announced on June 27th.

Judges including photographer Rankin, Vogue Italia’s Sara Maino, Harpers Bazaar Editor Justine Picardie, Drapers’ Eric Musgrave, Grazia’s Editor-in-Chief Jane Bruton and Hilary Alexander will select their favourites at the ceremony held in London on September 1st at 8 Northumberland.

Founder of the awards Tessa Hartmann said: “Our job here is to raise awareness to the incredible Scottish fashion, design and business talent within the industry. Having the event in one of the world's fashion capitals allows these brands to spread their wings, be recognised by their global peers and increase their ever growing platform. With 14 categories, all the fashion bases are covered and include: Scottish Designer of the Year, Textile Brand of the Year, Model of the Year and Retailer of the Year.
