Selfridges announces Bright Young Things designers

This August will see the return of Selfridges’ Bright Young

Things, the project that seeks out and champions emerging UK-based creators, and this year the scheme will be bigger than ever with 15 design talents set to take over the department store’s windows.

Championing talent not just from womenswear, menswear and accessories, the Bright Young Things concept also celebrates millinery, art, animation, set design, and food. Each designer will not only take over one of the store’s window displays, but also sell their creations in the dedicated Bright Young Things store and online.

This year’s fashion creative’s named as a Bright Young Thing includes womenswear brands Yeashin, Daniel Pollitt and Sadie Williams, menswear designers Alan Taylor and Hiroaki Kanai, accessories will be highlighted by Cari Marsden, Grace Hamilton and Sarah Williams, while Keely Hunter represents the best in emerging Millinery talent.

The Bright Young Things concept will launch in Selfridges at the end of August.
