Selfridges' Bright Young Things

Throughout the month of February, Selfridges will feature window displays of some of London’s
hottest young names in fashion and art, entitled ‘Bright Young Things.’ 20 young designers, specifically picked by the Selfridges buying and merchandising teams, will get to showcase their work, viewed by approximately one million people per week, as a means to nurture upcoming talent.Designers featured in this initiative include Charlie Le Mindu (who makes head and bodywear out of hair), Fashion East’s Simone Rocha (daughter of John Rocha), Lady Gaga favourite, Alex Noble and shoe designer, Kei Kagami.
The picked talent have also designed a one-off exclusive piece for Selfridges, which will be sold in three pop up shops across both the London and Manchester stores and online.
