Shamballa Jewels appoints COO

Danish jewellery brand, Shamballa Jewels has appointed Peter Normann Nielsen to

the newly created position as chief operations officer.

In his new role, Normann Nielsen will be responsible for the operational side of the business including management, control and organization of brand development, products and markets, reporting directly to CEO, Mikkel Kornerup.

Appointed to support Shamballa Jewel’s global growth, Normann Nielsen brings with him 16-years of experience in design and jewellery success, and most recently he was VP, design and brands at Rosendahl Design Group.

Commenting on the appointment, Kornerup, said: “Peter is a well-known leader in the Danish design industry. His background in steering growth is well matched to develop and nurture Shamballa Jewels expansion and business strategy. We are delighted to have Peter on board to support our growth phase.”

Normann Neilsen, who takes up his role on November 1, added: “Shamballa Jewels has been the most outstanding jewellery brand to emerge in the last decade. I look forward to be a member of the team and in continuing the development and expanding the fantastic brand universe of Shamballa Jewels.”

Founded by Mads and Mikkel Kornerup in 2005, Shamballa Jewels is present all over Europe, North America and Australia, and the brand is currently entering the Middle East and Asian markets through Dubai and Hong Kong.
