The Australian e-tailer company, started by Michael Fox,

Jodie Fox and Michael Knapp in 2009, is been looking for funding to further develop. Shoes of Prey’s founders are looking to raise up to 20 million dollars.

Shoes of Prey already accounts big investors among its stakeholders, including the co-founder of software company Atlassian, Mike Cannon-Brookes, Silicon Valley investor and blogger Mike Arrington (co-founder of venture capital firm CrunchFund), and US start-up investor Bill Tai of Charles River Ventures.

The company has previously raised 3 million dollars from investors and is now allegedly looking for an additional 20 million dollars in funding to employ more staff in its Sydney-based office as well as boost marketing efforts.

Shoes of Prey’s director of fashion Jodie Fox told to ‘BRW’:“Customers always ask what our shoes look like in real life – this is the best way to show them,” Fox tells BRW in reference to their recently opened physical store. “We’ve been outstripping our [sales] targets since we opened our doors.”
