Simon Berwin steps down from Moss Bros board

Berwin & Berwin, has stepped down from the board of menswear group Moss Bros after the Trust he was representing sold its 28.6% share in the group.In a Moss Bros Group plc stock exchange announcement, the menswear retailer said that the Trustees of the H.A. Cann Settlement Accumulation and Maintenance Fund (the Trust) had sold its entire stake, which represented 28.6 per cent of the company. The statement also added that the shares were sold onto institutional investors.
Berwin who joined the board as a non-executive director in 2009 after he led a consortium of investors who bought the stake from Arcadia boss Sir Philip Green has stepped down from the board with immediate effect.
