Simply Fashion has purchased the retail chain Dots out of bankruptcy and plans to expand the struggling store.

As published by the ‘Dayton Business Journal’, Birmingham-based Simply Fashion acquired Dots after the chain liquidated around 400 stores nationwide.

“At this point, we have 8 Dots stores open, with an additional 25 opening in the next couple of months,” Simply Fashion CEO Swapnil Shah said in a statement.

Shah advanced that now he is planning to bring at least 120 stores, along with many former employees, back online by December 2015, the local journal stated.

“The initial owner of Dots ran a successful chain,” Shah said. “I think this chain requires an operator that is hands on. We have great merchandising experience.”
