Skype reveals details of Beckham documentary

Further details of Victoria Beckham’s project with

online videoconferencing service Skype have been revealed. The documentary will be part of the Skype Collaboration Project, a new global space dedicated to original content on today’s creative industries, and will showcase exclusive behind-the-scenes access to her growing fashion brand.

Launching in January 2014, Beckham will share the story of her fashion label in a “previously unseen way” highlighting the journey from the spark that launched her business to her embracing of technology to empower creativity and to run her business from around the globe.

The documentary will combine moving image, text, audio and photography to highlight her story, and viewers will also be able to engage directly with Beckham and her team via the projects ‘The Conversation Series’, where viewers can submit questions.

The show itself will reveal “key milestones” within her business, including a behind-the-scenes look at how the company is run, how the team gears up to the Victoria Beckham Autumn/Winter 2014 ready-to-wear show at New York Fashion Week, and an introduction to the “industry collaborators” that have helped her along the way.
