Europe’s first e-tailer specialising in denim, created by Raphael Madar and Sebastian

Mejean, Sojeans.co.uk has gone live. The site, which launched its beta version in September, has now fully launched in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Belgium, and offers more than 1,200 styles from 75 different brands.

Featuring styles for men and women, SoJeans sells brands including 7 For All Mankind, Diesel, Hudson, Lee, Wrangler and Guess; as well as exclusive-to-the-UK Scandinavian brands such as Iceman and Nunc.

Other features of the site include Deal of the Day, a premium section, and its innovative tool, SoSelect, that allows customers to input their measurements – height, hips, waistline and thighs for a tailored selection of jeans; in addition to free shipping and returns.

The retailer is estimating annual sales of 4 million Euros in the first year, and is targeting 120 million Euros up to the year 2015.

“We are so excited to be launching SoJeans into the UK market,” said Madar. “Denim is a staple part of everyone’s wardrobe and our website brings together many top brands, enabling people, for the first time, to access a one-stop online denim shop.”
