For the financial year 2012 Spreadshirt’s sales were

over 65 million euros(87.52 million dollars). This is a jump of 42 percent over the previous year, when sales were 45.8 million euros (61.67 million dollar). Sales increased by 30 percent across the company’s core European market (including the UK). UK sales grew 24 percent year-on-year. A significant growth-driver was the North American market, where sales jumped a substantial 69 percent. Two other important regions for Spreadshirt are South America and Australia.

Spreadshirt CEO, Philip Rooke, commented, “We are excited that 2012 was a great year. We closed out the year with impressive fourth quarter results; global revenue was up 30 percent over the third quarter. We have exceeded our predicted revenues and have increased our profitability at the same time. Spreadshirt’s growth in the UK shows how our e-commerce platform, with its risk-free approach and top quality offering, is really resonating with both consumers and brands alike”.

The brand had more than 45,000 active online shops selling around the world in 2012. For 2013 the German e-commerce platform will focus on expansion of the product range and integration with new partners. Every year a couple of countries will be added for widening the global market share.
