Stefano Pilati lands two new jobs

Stefano Pilati, the former creative director of Yves Saint Laurent, has landed not one,

but two jobs in Milan with Ermenegildo Zegna and women's label Agnona.

The Ermenegildo Zegna Group announced in a statement, that Pilati would take up the role of creative director at Agnona, the group’s women’s luxury ready-to-wear and accessories brand founded in 1953, and the position of head of design at Ermenegildo Zegna. Pilati will be responsibility for the brand’s fashion show as well as the Ermenegildo Zegna Couture collection.

Commenting on the appointment, Gildo Zegna, CEO of the Zegna Group, said: "I'm thrilled to have Stefano in our Group as he brings great talent, invaluable experience and enormous enthusiasm. We have ambitious plans for Agnona, and we strongly believe that under his creative leadership we will be able to develop this little jewel into a global brand.”

Pilati officially starts on January 1, 2013, and he will show his first menswear collection for Zegna in June, as well as cruise collection for Agnona around the same time.
