The House of Yves Saint Laurent is expected to announce it is parting ways with creative

director Stefano Pilati. Rumours concerning his post have been circulating as early as last February, however both the designer and the House at the time confirmed Pilati would be staying on until his contract expires.

Hedi Slimane is widely tipped to be replacing Pilati, however Raf Simons is also thought to be a candidate, although Simons is expected to be taking the helm at Dior.

With the return of Jil Sander to the label she founded in the 70s, it has been a week of stellar changes at some of the most revered luxury fashion companies in the world. There will be enormous shakeups in the design ateliers, as creative directors prefer to appoint their own teams, often taking the heads of designs with them to their new posts.
