Stella McCartney teams up with Gwyneth Paltrow

British fashion designer Stella McCartney has

teamed up with her friend Gwyneth Paltrow on a capsule collection for the actresses lifestyle website, Goop.

The capsule line features pieces designed by McCartney and curated by Paltrow and consists of exclusive styles including a classic black blazer, charcoal gray knit jumpsuit, black jeans and black wool trousers. In addition, the collaboration will also include several exclusive handbags.

“I think of myself as a woman who is a lover of beautiful things,” Paltrow told WWD about the collaboration. “I’m very specific about my taste. The role I want in a partnership is curating a collection as opposed to taking a designer point of view. I can tweak a blazer and make it the perfect blazer. It’s being able to fulfil what my ideal things ought to be.”

Stella McCartney x Goop, is the latest fashion collaboration for the lifestyle website, previous collections have been with Cynthia Rowley, Rag & Bone, Warby Parker and MiH Jeans.

The collection is set to launch this week with prices starting at 795 dollars.
