Strathberry of Scotland opens flagship

New luxury brand Strathberry of Scotland, which
combines Scottish tweeds and equestrian leathers, has launched with the opening of its debut flagship store in Edinburgh’s Grassmarket.The brand’s first store spans across 750 square foot of retail space, housing its inaugural collection of contemporary handmade bags for men and women, which features six colourways including Tantallon and Portmore, the name of the foothills near Strathberry of Scotland’s mill, set in Peebleshire.
The collection includes a weekender bag, a saddle bag, satchel, iPad case, luggage tag, key ring, and accessories for dogs including collars and leads, with retail prices ranging from 600 to 1,500 pounds.
Additionally, the brand also opened within Massimo Bizzocchi store in New York’s Meatpacking district this month, and is currently operating a five year growth plan which will see it expanding its wholesale operations in the UK and US as well as “eventually progressing” to an overseas presence in Japan and Hong Kong.
