Stuart Weitzman names new chief global digital

Luxury footwear brand Stuart Weitzman has named Monica Schwartz as its new chief global digital and e-commerce

officer.

In this newly created position, Schwartz will oversee all aspects of global e-commerce and digital strategies for the stuartweitzman.com platforms in the United States, Canada, Europe and Hong Kong, as well as the soon-to-be-launched e-commerce site in China.

Schwartz has more than 15 years of experience and digital knowledge in the luxury retail and technology sectors, most recently she led the e-commerce team at David Yurman. In her new role she will report directly to Wayne Kulkin, CEO, and will be based out of the company's international headquarters in New York City.

Commenting on the appointment, Kulkin said: "The number one priority for our organisation is to expand all of our e-commerce platforms globally with a universal synergy of our core retail values - outstanding customer service and innovation - ensuring our customers' digital Stuart Weitzman experience is uniform throughout, regardless of the country from which they visit our online boutique.
