Superdry, the fashion clothing brand, has appointed digital

marketing agency iCrossing to manage its global paid search and overseas natural search accounts following a competitive pitch.

The agency will support the retailer’s  global expansion plans for its online strategy which has seen significant growth under the leadership of Chris Griffin, the brand’s head of e-commerce.
A key remit will be to launch new websites into new territories, including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, South Korea, China, Taiwan and Australia. In addition, iCrossing will also be responsible for the paid and natural search of the established websites in the territories of the US, Canada, France, Germany and Belgium as well as the recently launched Spanish, Italian and Swiss sites. It will also be responsible for paid search in the UK.

As part of its strategy, iCrossing will be creating new content, utilising existing content and using Superdry branded and sponsored events to foster natural link growth and raise brand awareness amongst its target audience.

Chris Griffin, head of e-commerce at Superdry, said: "Superdry online has been phenomenally successful to date and we’ve got highly ambitious growth plans for the future. A key part of our strategy is to continue to develop our online retail presence and expand into new territories."

He continued: "We were looking for a single agency to consolidate our paid and natural search activity and in iCrossing have found an agency with strong retail credentials and a great reputation for creating and managing search campaigns on a global basis. We’re confident iCrossing will be the perfect partner as we continue to grow the Superdry brand online."
