Superdry opens largest store in America

British lifestyle brand Superdry has opened its largest

store in North American. Located in New York City’s iconic Times Square, the 14,000 sq ft retail space spans over two floors, and houses the brand’s men’s and women’s casual and contemporary apparel and accessories.

Situated next to American retailer Forever 21, this new store marks the brand's third location in New York since 2009, joining South Street Seaport and on Broadway in NoHo, and the New York expansion will continue in August with the opening of a Lexington Avenue and 59th Street location.

Superdry is celebrated for housing its collections in uniquely designed retail environments and the Times Square space is no exception, featuring oversized jam jar chandeliers, as well as triple patchwork tables made from reclaimed wood and an extensive use of raw steel. The highlights being the industrial bomb light chandelier made from British factory lights salvaged from the 1940's, a bespoke cubby-style denim cabinetry, and a dedicated area to the brand's leather and premium footwear collection.

In addition, the Superdry Times Square store also allows shoppers to swiftly pay by using the iPod Touch portable check out system.
